Beyonce performs the national anthem at President Barrack Obama’s Presidential Inauguration. The singer heats up Washington with performance of “Star-Spangled Banner.”

After the re-election of Barack Obama last November, the public inauguration ceremony took place yesterday on the Capitol Square in Washington. The President of the United States was sworn in before thousands of Americans. But the most expected of this ceremony was the Queen of Soul: Beyoncé, who left aside the R’n’b to give her voice, singing the American national anthem “The Star-Spangled Banner”.

Having a friendly relationship with the Obama couple – Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z made the propaganda and followed the president during the presidential campaign – it is quite natural that the singer entered the scene by greeting Michelle and Barack Obama.

As a reminder, during the inauguration ceremony of Barack Obama in 2009, it was Aretha Franklin, who had the heavy responsibility
