The singer delivered a vibrant rendition of the “Star-Spangled Banner
Pop star Lady Gaga sang the American national anthem at Joe Biden’s inauguration ceremony on Wednesday, January 20.
Dressed in a voluminous red and black dress, and wearing a large golden brooch representing the dove of peace, she performed the “Star-Spangled Banner” in front of the huge esplanade of the “National Mall” in Washington, where some 190,000 flags had been planted to represent the absent public.
At the end of her two-minute performance, the singer greeted Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, before giving way to Jennifer Lopez, who sang “This land is your land”.
